Iran lifts Turkey trip ban for travel agencies

EghtesadOnline: Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi said the recent visit of Iranian foreign minister to Turkey was a constructive visit which benefits Iranian and Turkish nations.

"During this visit, the Iranian minister had long negotiations on bilateral political, regional and international issues and other relevant matters between the two countries," Qassemi said.

Qassemi added that Iran has lifted the ban on travel agencies to take tourists and visitors to Turkey after the country pledged to provide security and welfare of Iranian tourists, reports ISNA.

"Therefore, Iranian travel agencies can organize tourist trips to this neighboring country," he added.

Iran ordered travel agencies to cancel all trips to the country after the recent coup in the country.
