EghtesadOnline: Foreign Ministry's Director General for Political Affairs and International Security Hamid Baeedinejad underscored that the nuclear agreement with the world power has paved the way for increasing Iran's regional power.

'The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) has prepared the grounds for Iran's turning into first regional power while reaching an understanding with the world's big powers,' Baeedinejad said on Thursday, addressing Kashan administrative council.

Baeedinejad said that the enemy created crisis for Iran in line with its arrogant policies and on the pretext of nuclear activities to the extent that six resolutions were signed against Iran at the UN Security Council and they termed Iran's nuclear programs as threats for the international security and peace, reports IRNA.

He underlined that the sanctions and the options for threat were on the table and only five countries purchased Iran's crude oil and at the level of 700,000 barrels.

'They intended to bring Iran's oil export to zero level and they had a plan to allow buying Iranian goods upon their approval and after receiving the UN Security Council permission.
