This is only the Syrian people who should decide for their country' future, Hadiyeh Khalaf Abbas said during a joint press briefing Monday with the Iranian Majlis (Parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani held at the end of the two meeting this morning in the Iranian capital.
The Syrian official described her meeting with Larijani as good and positive, reports IRNA.
During the meeting, she said, the two exchanged views on important issues including the fight against terrorism
'It is more than five years that a terrorist war has been imposed on us by more than 80 world countries,' she noted adding that Syria in different fronts entered the combat against the terrorists during all these years.
The terrorists have destroyed the symbols of civilization, cultural sites, infrastructures, archaeological sites and tourist attractions in Syria, Khalaf Abbas said.
