Finland keen on industrial ties with Semnan province, ambassador

EghtesadOnline: Finland Ambassador to Tehran Harri Kamarainen said on Saturday that Finland is keen on cooperation with Semnan province in light of the industrial and mine capacities of the province.

He made the remarks in meeting with Semnan economic activists.

The ambassador said that industry and mine potentials vailable in Semnan province are important for Finland businessmen, according to IRNA.

Kamarainen said that industry and mine need a lot of water resources and Iran needs to use the technology for refining the industrial sewage water and Finland can supply such technology to Iran.

Concerning productivity and optimal use of energy, the ambassador said that Finland may put its modern technology at disposal of Iran and the Semnan province.

Kamarainen said that if railway from Helsinki be connected to Semnan in the framework of Silk Road, it would be a great achievement for both sides.

The ambassador also visited Semnan University.

This is the third time that the Finnish ambassador is visiting Semnan province.
