Iran, Azerbaijan Republic private sectors to expand cooperation: Minister

EghtesadOnline: Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli in a meeting with parliament Speaker of Azerbaijan Republic Ogtay Asadov on Tuesday underlined the necessity to expand cooperation between the two countries' private sectors.

Regarding firm ties between the two nations and governments, Rahmani Fazli underlined the strengthening mutual relations.

According to IRNA, the two sides also discussed security matters in the region.

Rahmani Fazli said that Iran pays special heed to the regional security.

The Interior Minister added that Iran supports peaceful solution for Karabakh conflict and is ready to offer necessary assistance in this concern.

Asadov expressed satisfaction for current relation level and said that visits of Interior Minister Rahmani Fazli may assist more development of mutual ties.

He also called reciprocal visits of high ranking officials of both sides effective for bilateral relations outlook.

Rahmani Fazli arrived in Baku on Monday for a 2-day visit.

He met with President Ilham Aliyev, ministers of interior and natural disaster as well as head of public security service and commander of border guards.
