EghtesadOnline: Iran’s minister of economy and Italian counterpart Pier Carlo Padoan will meet soon in Iran to finalize banking and financial accords.

In his meeting with Tayyebnia in Italy, Pier Carlo Padoan expressed his satisfaction over the expansion of mutual ties after the nuclear accord in April and said he is willing to pay a visit to Tehran to meet his counterpart and clinch banking and financial deals.

“We believe in acting based on our commitments and promoting ties with Iran and have made our best effort to remove the obstacles, “Italian minister underlined.

He went on to say that Italian banks and companies are determined to boost economic ties with Iran, stressing that there must be no hesitation in expanding relations in all areas soon, according to ISNA.

Iran’s minister for his part criticized western countries’ performance in fulfilling their banking commitments, and said improvement of ties between Iran and the West would benefit all.
