Malaysian Envoy: President Rouhani's visit to Malaysia a new outlook for better ties

EghtesadOnline: Malaysian Ambassador to Tehran Raja Nushirwan Zainal Abidin said on Wednesday that upcoming visit of President Rouhani to Malaysia focuses on promotion of trade and investment ties and will open a new outlook for better ties.

He told reporters about the upcoming visit to Tehran of Malaysian trade delegation late October that after the sanctions were lifted, the international community, including Malaysia found the opportunity to enter Iran's market.

Raja Nushirwan Zainal Abidin said that trade between the two countries from January to July has increased from 290 to 320 million dollars making up for nine percent growth, reports IRNA.

He said that the Malaysian companies are so interested to attend Iran's market.

The Malaysian ambassador said that two trade delegation have already visited Iran and the third delegation is to come to Iran on October 22, 2016.

He said that the delegation will include members of the companies active in the fields of oil and gas industry, information technology, car making, manufacturing machineries and construction industry. 

Meanwhile, a trade seminar will be held during visit of the delegation in Tehran, the envoy said.

President Hassan Rouhani is to visit Kuala Lumpur on October 7-8, 2016.
