Iran, Germany sign MoU on vocational training

EghtesadOnline: Deputy Minister of Co-operative, Labor and Social Welfare Mohammad Amin Sazegarnejad on Saturday signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with German Deputy Federal Minister of Education and Researches Bernard Schutte on vocational training.

Sazegarnejad said in a meeting with the German deputy federal minister that Iran and Germany have longstanding cooperation in this concern, calling for continued cooperation in future.

Head of Iranian Technical and Vocational Training Organization said that workshops scheduled to be held in the context of the vocational training program must help upgrade experience of the technicians in line with the tasks and outlooks of the TVTO, reports IRNA.

Bernard Schutte said that he was pleased with cooperation with TVTO and that the German ministry intends to deepen its studies on Iran's educational system.

According to the MoU the two sides are to hold a workshop in Tehran in December. 

The workshop aims to strengthen mutual understanding of Iran and Germany technical and vocational and educational system.

It is due a research tour to be organized by Germany organization to follow up the outcomes of the workshop.
