Iran deplores Saudi crimes against humanity in Yemen, offers emergency medical supplies

Head of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Pir Hossein Kolivand said on Monday Iran's EMS is prepared to dispatch emergency medical supplies and relief aid workers to Yemen to evacuate the wounded Yemeni people to Iranian hospitals for medical treatment.

Iranians have always condemned bloodshed and violence of the terrorists and supporters of terrorism in the world; Kolivand said.

He said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is full prepared to admit the wounded Yemenis to the Iranian hospitals for medical treatment, according to IRNA.

He expressed outrage at violation of the International Humanitarian Law (IHL) by the Saudi rulers and the heinous bombardment of the civilian targets in Yemen, saying that considering severe shortage of medical supplies and health centers for medical treatment of the wounded people, Iranian EMS is ready to dispatch emergency relief aid workers to Yemen to evacuate the wounded Yemenis to Iran.

Iran demanded the International Criminal Court to bring to justice the Saudi leaders for crimes against humanity they perpetrated in Yemen.

Iran said that ICC prosecutor is expected to discharge his duty to issue arrest warrants against the Saudi rulers responsible for the crimes against humanity in Yemen.

Two series of Saudi airstrikes on a memorial service in Sana'a left over 700 people dead and wounded.

The International Community held the Saudi rulers responsible for the crimes against humanity in Yemen.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said in a letter to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon the Saudi leaders have perpetrated crimes against humanity in Yemen and the UN must hold those responsible for the crimes accountable before the International Law.

He demanded green light from ICRC to Iran to dispatch relief aid workers and emergency medical supplies to Yemen and evacuate the wounded Yemenis to Iranian hospitals for medical treatment.
