Larijani made the remarks following Majlis closed-door session with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif today morning.
Zarif attended Majlis closed-door session to brief the lawmakers on international Syrian peace talks held in Lausanne, Switzerland, reports IRNA.
Lausanne talks on Syria were held in participation by foreign ministers of Russia, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, United States, as well as UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura on Oct 15.
The four-hour long round of talks aimed at putting an end to the crisis in Syria but it ended without even the release of a joint statement by its participants.
