Speaking in the 43rd Foreign Ministers Meeting of Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Araqchi said killing the innocent people of Syria is the result of spread of Wahhabi and Takfiri ideologies.
Daesh and al-Nusrah Front are responsible for the bloodshed and murder of Syria civilians, the official added.
He called on the Islamic countries to start a true fight against terrorism, reports IRNA.
The spread of terrorism and extremism in the Middle East and North Africa is a serious threat endangering the Islamic World, he said.
The deputy foreign minister urged the support by certain states for Daesh and al-Nusrah Front to be stopped and noted that raiding Yemen is going to bear no results but empowering the terrorist groups and intensifying the crisis there.
The crisis in Yemen has no military solution and it should be resolved through dialogue, Araqchi said.
Iran's foreign ministry official also referred to the catastrophic situation faced by the Palestinians and said that the crisis in Palestine has no solution but the return of Palestinian refugees to their homeland and establishment of an independent Palestinian state in Quds.
Speaking about Riyadh's dispute with the United States on ‘Justice Against Sponsor of Terrorism Act (JASTA)’, he said Washington has showed that it is not trustable.
The 43rd Foreign Ministers Meeting of Organization of Islamic Cooperation kicked off in Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan on Tuesday.
Araqchi departed for Tashkent on Monday afternoon to attend the two-day meeting.
Uzbekistan has undertaken the current presidency of the OIC.
