Khosravani said, 'We have turned into major exporter of oil products in the region. We export 45 million liters of fuel oil and almost 20 million liters of gasoil a day.'
He said as new phases of South Pars were put into operation and gas production rose, consumption of different kinds of liquid fuels started dramatically falling in the country and in the past two years, sharp increase was observed in export of oil products, according to IRNA.
Iran that used to be importer of gas oil in the past three years, has now turned into major exporter of the product in the region.
Providing details on export of oil products, Khosravani said now Iran is exporting 400,000 barrels out of 1,800,000 barrels capacity of Iranian refineries are exported daily.
