Iran-Indonesia talk on facilitating financial relations

EghtesadOnline: Banking delegations of Iran and Indonesia have held talks in Jakarta Friday on making efforts to facilitate financial and economic relations between the two countries.

Ahmad Azizi, senior advisor to the Governor of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) Valiollah Seif, led the Iranian delegation to Indonesia.

During the talks, the two sides stressed the importance of removing obstacles to expansion of banking relations, reports IRNA.

The two further expressed satisfaction over the developments in their banking cooperation, called for holding joint economic commission in the near future and urged direct banking contacts as the upcoming visit of the Indonesian President Joko Widodo to Tehran will pave the way for mutual cooperation.
