Iran, Japan to expand cooperation on science, technology

EghtesadOnline: Iran and Japan are willing to develop cooperation on science and technology, Deputy Minister of Science for international affairs and Head of international scientific cooperation Center Hossein Salar-Amoli said on Tuesday.

He made the remarks in a meeting with Middle Eastern Director of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Tetsutaro Kon and high representative of JICA to Iran Kuhi Sato, reports IRNA.

Salar-Amoli said that regarding the positive attitude of Iranians and Japanese to each other, scientific cooperation would be the most sustainable link between the two nations.

He said that Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology is keen on scientific cooperation with the Japanese academic centers.
