EghtesadOnline: Deputies of Iranian and Slovanian foreign ministers held talks on different important issues, including regional developments and reopening of Slovenian embassy in Tehran.

The talks, that were held in Tehran on November 2, were attended by Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for European and American Affairs Majid Takht-e Ravanchi and the visiting Slovenian State Secretary Darja Bavdaz Kuret.

Kuret has travelled to Iran to take part in the second round of political consultations between the two countries, according to IRNA.

In Tehran, she also aims to prepare the ground for the visit of the Slovenian president to Iran.

Takht-e Ravanchi, during the Wednesday talks, referred to the travel of the Slovenian president to Iran and the aim of that country to reopen embassy here as Ljubljana's political will to promote bilateral ties with Tehran.

The Iranian diplomat further stressed the importance of improving the banking relations between the two sides.
