Judiciary chief meets senior clerics in Iraq's Najaf

EghtesadOnline: Iran's Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani met Wednesday with senior Shia clerics in Iraq's Najaf.

The meeting, held on the fifth day of Larijani's visit to that country, was attended by Ayatollah Muhammad al-Fayadh, Ayatollah Bashir al-Najafi and Ayatollah Saeed al-Hakim.

On November 1, Larijani met with Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani in Najaf located in center of Iraq.

Iran's Judiciary chief along with a delegation arrived in Baghdad on October 29, reports IRNA.

During his three-day stay in the Iraqi capital, Larijani held talks with senior officials in that country.

His talks led to signing an agreement between the two countries on judicial and legal issues.
