Iran, Slovakia sign cooperation deal

EghtesadOnline: Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Slovakian counterpart Miroslav Lajcak signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Thursday to provide the ground for bolstering cooperation between Iran and the Eastern European nation.

The MoU is going to further foster political consultations between Tehran and Bratislava, according to IRNA.

Foreign Minister Zarif is scheduled to meet and hold talks with Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico later in the day.

He has already met Slovakian President Andrej Kiska, Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak. He has as well participated in a gathering of the two countries' businessmen.

Later on Thursday, Zarif is expected to leave Bratislava for Prague.
