Iran to establish nanotechnology lab in Cuba

EghtesadOnline: Iran plans to establish a laboratory equipped with nanotechnology in one of nano research centers in Cuba.

According to ISNA, Iran’s Vice President for science and Technology Sorena Sattari said Tuesday that the country aims to open a laboratory equipped with nanotechnology in one of nano research centers in Cuba.

In a meeting with Fidel Castro Diaz-Balart, scientific adviser to the Cuban president in Tehran, Sattari highlighted Iran’s progress in science and technology in recent years, saying the country is now exporting biotechnological medicine to Russia and different  other countries.

The Cuban official, for his part, expressed his country’s readiness to expand cooperation with Iran and welcomed Iran’s generous offer to establish a nanotechnology laboratory in his country.
