Veep off to Iraq

EghtesadOnline: First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri has left Tehran for Najaf, Iraq, on Sunday to attend Arbaeen (marking the end of the 40-day mourning period for Imam Hussein (AS), the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)) ceremony.

While in Iraq, Jahangiri is to take part in Arbaeen procession and receive first hand account of services offered to pilgrims to the holy shrine of Imam Hossein (AS), the third Imam of Prophet Mohammad's (PBUH) infallible household.
He is also to visit the holy shrine of Hazrat Ali (AS), the first Imam of Prophet's infallible household.
Minister of Youth and Sports, Masood Soltanifar, accompanies Jahangiri in the tour, IRNA reported.
