Iran, Turkey review parliamentary Cooperation

EghtesadOnline: Iranian Ambassador to Turkey Mohammad Ebrahim Taherian Fard in a meeting with the Head of Iran-Turkey Parliamentary Friendship Group at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Yusuf Beyazi discussed ways of developing parliamentary cooperation between two countries.

Both sides underscored the importance of parliamentary friendship groups' interest in mutual exchange of delegations and in consultating on different subjects.

During the meeting, they also reviewed the process of Iran-Turkey economic and trade cooperation and emphasized the necessity of facilitating transportation and transit as an important ground to expand such relations. 

Taherian and Beyazi referred to historical, cultural, religious and geographical commonalities between two countries as factors which would facilitate proximity and cooperation.

They also focused on ways of achieving the target of 30 billion-dollar worth of economic exchanges between the two countries.
