EghtesadOnline: Iran’s Ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Reza Najafi said on Thursday that durability of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) depends on actions of other parties that he said have not been satisfactory so far.

Addressing the IAEA Board of Governors seasonal meeting, Najafi although Tehran’s complete commitment to the JCPOA has repeatedly been confirmed by the IAEA, the other parties (members of the Group 5+1) are not acting based on their JCPOA commitments.

He stressed that Iran continues its pledges based on the landmark nuclear deal and will closely monitor other sides to do the same, according to IRNA.

The G5+1 states are clearly responsible to implement the JCOPA with good will and in a constructive atmosphere based on mutual respect to avoid any move which is against the text, spirit or intention of the JCPOA and undermines its successful implementation, he said.

Najafi stressed that Iran will continue fulfilling its duties and commitments based on JCPOA and in order to guarantee its consistent implementation, will closely watch the moves made by other parties.
