The Iranian delegation met Turkish parliamentary delegation on the sidelines of the 9th Asian Parliamentary Union in Cambodia.
According to IRNA, she recalled the failed coup attempt in Turkey, saying that the Islamic Republic of Iran was among first countries who condemned the coup.
Iran and Turkey as two powerful countries in the world Muslim call for expansion of parliamentary cooperation within APU, she said.
The two sides should also broaden parliamentary cooperation, she said.
