Iran, Turkey review latest developments in Caucasus, Central Asia

EghtesadOnline: The latest developments in the Caucasus and Central Asia were reviewed in the presence of Deputy Foreign Minister for Education and Research Seyed Kazem Sajjadpour in the Center for Eurasian Studies (AVIM) in Ankara, Turkey.

Following a series of roundtable discussions, expert seminars and scientific meetings, Sajjadpour met with the Director of AVIM Alev Kilic, according to IRNA.

In the meeting with the director and senior experts of AVIM, Sajjadpour reviewed the latest developments for revival of the Silk Road and the energy corridors in the region with the focus on the Iran-Turkey common interests and the basic requirements to secure security and common interests. 

Sajjadpour also delivered speech in the Iran-Turkey round table on November 30 which was hosted by the Center for Middle Eastern Strategic Studies (ORSAM) 

During the round table, two sides emphasized promotion of relations between the countries' think tanks under critical conditions of the region and the role of Research centers' interactions in the process.
