He made the remarks on the sidelines of a meeting to mark Iranian university students day which falls on December 6.
According to IRNA, the ambassador pointed to recent move of the US congressmen to renew Iran Sanctions Act dating back to 1996 when Bill Clinton was the president, saying that the Russian government as a major member of Group 5+1 has warned other signatories to the JCPOA to honor their commitments.
Sanaei said that the Russian officials in their warning to the other members of G5+1 underlined that Iran implemented all its JCPOA obligations.
'They reminded the Group 5+1 states to avoid any move that may damage or violate implementation process of the deal.
The ambassador said that the US congressmen move to extend Iran Sanctions Act for another 10-years is a serious breach of JCPOA and that according to guidelines of the Supreme Leader, in case of the US congress demand takes effect, Iran will give decisive response to the US breach of JCPOA.
Regarding a new Russian foreign policy doctrine signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on December 3 to take effect, Sanaei said that the doctrine envisaged Russian commitment to implement JCPOA as an international convention.
