Talking in a press briefing with Kuwaiti press and media on Wednesday, he pointed to holding of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council Summit in Bahrain and said the session is to be held in a very sensitive juncture.
He said the meeting is to be held at a time when all countries are facing the threat of terrorism which has engulfed the region, IRNA reported.
He said annihilation of terrorism will be possible only through collective measures by all countries.
He said Iran will cooperate with any kind of measures which would initiate solidarity among countries.
He stressed that no tensions existed between Iran and the PGCC.
