EghtesadOnline: Iran's deputy ambassador to the United Nations, Gholam Hossein Dehghani called Canadian draft resolution on the situation in Aleppo one-sided.

Addressing a meeting of the UN General Assembly on Friday, Dehghani said the resolution drafted by Canada on the situation in Syria does not conform to the reality in the country.

He stated that Iran, China and Russia beside Syrian government voted against the resolution, adding the draft resolution is totally silent against the major reasons for the crisis in Syria, according to ISNA.

Iranian official underscored that it is a proven fact that terrorism and extremism are the root causes of the disaster, noting it should be addressed by the international community.
