Iran's cultural week held successfully in Algeria last year with participation of different groups of Iranian artists.
According to IRNA, the event is held in the context of a cultural agreement to make people of the two countries more familiar and acquainted with each other culture, customs and tradition.
The cultural week organized in cooperation with the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) and Algerian Ministry of Culture, Iran's Cultural Attaché Office in Algiers, Iran's National Library and Document Organization.
During the week, Algerian poets and writers are to hold meetings in al-Zahra University and Allameh Tabatabaei University; Algerian Music artists are to perform traditional music, hold visual arts exhibit, display handicrafts and traditional clothing, screen five movies and exhibition on local and traditional foods.
