The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought (WFPIST) said on Monday that scholars and representatives from 50 different countries will review and discuss different dimensions of the issue of 'Unity and the necessity to fight Takfiri trends' in the 3-day conference, according to IRNA.
WFPIST said that thinkers and scholars from Malaysia, Russia, Indonesia, Iraq, Lebanon, Thailand, Algeria, Britain, USA, Australia, Tunisia, China, Egypt and other countries are participating in the conference.
Role of Takfiri trends to sow discord among Muslims, necessity to fight Takfiri trends to fulfill unity, role of colonialism in disintegration of the Muslim World by Takfiri trends and the threat posed by Takfiri terrorists to revival of Islam and the obstacles created by Takfiri terrorists to the cause of Palestine are among topics of the conference.
