Dehghan departed for South Africa at the invitation of the South African defense minister Nosiviwe Noluthando Mapisa-Nqakula, ISNA reported.
His two-day visit aims at opening talks with South African officials on mutual ties, regional and international issue.
Signing military agreement between the two sides are among the other programs of the trip.
