The agreements were inked between the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company and Russia's energy giant Gazprom in a ceremony attended by Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh and visiting Russia’s Energy Minister Alexander Novak .
Iran-Russia Energy Committee convened for the first time on Monday (Dec 13) as Deputy Minister of Petroleum for International Affairs and Trading Amir-Hossein Zamaninia and Russian Deputy Energy Minister Molodtsov Kirill also were attending the event, according to IRNA.
The committee was convened within the framework of the 13th Iran-Russia Joint Economic Commission.
Novak, heading a 590-member economic delegation traveled to Iran on Monday (Dec 12).
The visit would be a major step towards implementation of the decision made by the presidents of the two countries to expand bilateral ties.
