TEDPIX on Losing Streak

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index lost 109 points or 0.14% to end Wednesday trade at 79,691.8.

More than 1.1 billion shares valued at $55.2 million changed hands for the day.

Tehran Nosazi and Sakhteman Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 5% to 1,749 rials per share.

Iran Transfo Company was the biggest riser, going up 5% to 14,570 rials per share.

Mobarakeh Steel Company weighed the most on TEDPIX, followed by Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company.

Shazand Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark, followed by Pardis Petrochemical Company and Pars Khodro, according to Financial Tribune.

The Price Index was down 38.80 points or 0.14% to stand at 28,038.9.

The First Market Index shed 91.80 points or 0.16% to post 56,697.

The Second Market Index lost 149.80 points or 0.09% to reach 168,863.2.

The Industry Index gave up 79.30 points or 0.12% to register 67,146.6.

The Free Float Index dropped by 226.59 points or 0.26% to settle at 87,802.

The TSE 30 Index inched down 4.80 points or 0.15% to close at 3,264.7 while the TSE 50 Index edged down 1.70 points or 0.05% to finish at 3,144.9.

  IFX Adds 8.13 Points

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX gained 8.13 points or 0.95% to end Wednesday trade at 865.15.

Close to 203 million securities valued at $27.1 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Rail Pardaz Seir Company saw the highest number of traded shares, as more than 21.4 million of its shares were traded.

Zagros Petrochemical Company accounted for the highest trade value with the trading of shares worth $849,000.

Iranian Investment Incorporation, Pars Paper Industries Group and Marjankar Company had the highest value increase.

Zangan Zinc Industries Company, Chaharmahal Sugar Company and Mihan Insurance had the highest decline.
