Iran Railways Director General for International Affairs, Abbas Nazari said, “Initial negotiations with Italy were finalized for investing 4 billion euros in Iran railways. According to schedule Italy will invest directly in two express lines from Qom to Arak and from Tehran to Hamedan.”
“France also is willing to invest in Iran railways and in last few months we have had serious negotiations with the French side. Probably France will play an important role in development of our railways”, ISNA quoted him as saying.
