EghtesadOnline: Head of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) Gholam-Hossein Shafei says Iran and Albania can have multilateral trade in Europe and Asia.

Speaking in a meeting with the visiting Albanian Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati in Tehran on Saturday, Shafei said Iran may serve as a gate for Albania's entry to Central Asia and Afghanistan, while Albania may play the same role for Iran to enter markets southeast of Europe.
Noting that the Iran-Albania trade volume is low, Shafei stressed that Iran is highly willing to expand commercial relations with Albania as a Muslim country.
According to IRNA, he said such offers as double tax exemption and use of preferential trade agreements would result in expansion of the Tehran-Tirana trade.
He expressed the hope that presence of Albanian Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati in Iran could be a turning point in trade cooperation between Iran and Albania.
Bushati, heading a trade-economic delegation, arrived in Tehran on Saturday.
He is due to meet with a number of senior Iranian officials, including Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif.
