Bodies of 8 more firefighters unearthed

EghtesadOnline: Bodies of eight more firefighters were pulled out of the rubbles of the collapsed Plasco Trade Center in Tehran on Wednesday, according to the spokesman of Tehran Fire Department, Jalal Maleki.

The 17-storey Plasco Trade Center collapsed in Tehran on Thursday morning while the firefighters were trying to extinguish the fire in the building. 

In earlier days of the operation, bodies of two firefighters had been found and another firefighter was found alive, who later succumbed to injuries and burnings at the hospital, IRNA reported. 

Maleki said the search operation is still underway for finding the bodies of five other missing firefighters. 

With the bodies of four other civilians being pulled out of the rubble, the death toll of the incident rose to 15.
