TEDPIX Snaps Losing Streak

More than 950 million shares valued at $45 million changed hands for the day.

Pars Refractories Company was the biggest riser, going up 5% to 5,591 rials per share.

Ardebil Arta Cement Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 4.99% to 13,370 rials per share, Financial Tribune reported.

SAIPA gave the biggest boost to the benchmark, followed by Iran Khodro and Kharg Petrochemical Company.

Esfahan Oil Refining Company weighed the most on TEDPIX, followed by Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company.

The Price Index was up 88.90 points or 0.33% to stand at 27,281.9.

The First Market Index gained 218.40 points or 0.40% to post 55,209.8.

The Second Market Index rose by 327.90 points or 0.20% to register 166,630.9.

The Industry Index added 246.70 points or 0.37% to reach 66,494.3.

The Free Float Index won 450.19 points or 0.53% to hit 85,455.70.

The TSE 30 Index gathered 13.50 points or 0.43% to settle at 3,144.1 while the TSE 50 Index scored 8.70 points or 0.28% to finish at 3,063.8.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX gained 5.3 points or 0.63% to end Monday trade at 850.02.

Close to 166.9 million securities valued at $29.7 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Yazd Alloy Steel Company saw the highest number of traded shares, as 11.9 million of its shares changed hands.

Pakdis Company had the highest trade value, with the trading of shares worth $1 million.

Tuka Refractories Company, Tuka Paint and Pegah Golpayegan Dairy Company had the highest value increase.

Minoo Shargh Food Industries Company, Pegah Fars Dairy Company and Shahed Construction and Development Company had the highest decline.
