EghtesadOnline: Although Iran is set to hold two important elections, namely the presidential and city and village councils polls, in May, there will be no fluctuations in the housing market and the sector is expected to experience a steady trend until June 2017, said Hesam Oqbaei, the head of Tehran Association of Realtors.

“Prices will not change considerably by the end of the current Iranian year (March 20) and the market is predicted to stay steady during this period,” he was quoted as saying by Banker. According to Financial Tribune, Oqbaei added that in the next Iranian year, the housing market will continue on a positive note since we have partially put the recession behind.
