Czech Credit Line for Iran Trade

EghtesadOnline: The Czech Republic government has considered opening a $100-million credit line to encourage trade with Iran, said Martin Tlapa, Czech deputy foreign minister, during a meeting with the Iranian economic delegation in Prague on Tuesday.

Masoud Khansari, the head of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, headed a 30-member Iranian delegation that attended a joint business forum in Prague on Monday.

According to Financial Tribune, Khansari also had a meeting with Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Jan Mladek. The two emphasized the importance of boosting banking relations to boost bilateral trade. Tehran-Prague trade amounted to $59.1 million over the 11 months to November 2016.
