Economic cooperation between Iran, Caspian states to implement

EghtesadOnline: The first round of negotiations about comprehensive agreements over economic, trade and investment cooperation between Caspian states took place and a final document is expected to sign and implement through next months.

“The three-day negotiations took place in Ashgabat the capital of Turkmenistan. The cooperation document in different fields has been slated by the five coastal countries including Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Iran which is expected to be signed in Astana,” director general of Europe, America and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Department in the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI) Abolfazl Koudehi said, according to ISNA.

“The aim of this agreement is to expand cooperation in various areas such as industry, mining, energy, infrastructure, transportation, agriculture, tourism, transport and technical knowledge, health, medical education, environment and etc,” he added. “The finalizing and implementation of this agreement has been slated for next months. The document will be signed by related ministries’ officials and is predicted that the second round of negotiations will take place through three months.”
