On the sidelines of meeting to program aerial navigation in the Middle East region, the Iranian delegation held an emergency meeting with directors of Control Tower from countries like Bahrain, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, regional office of ICAO, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) as well as representatives from several Kuwaiti Airline companies to confront with climate situations over regional aerial routes, IRNA reported.

He appreciated Iran’s role in air transport, passing traffic control from east to west and south to north and applauded Iran’s full coordination with other countries in the sector of controlling emergency situation and crisis in current period upon bilateral agreement.
ICAO regional meeting was held in Kuwait on February 9 to 14, 2017.
