Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Reza Salehi Amiri added that in the current Iranian year, more than $20.2 million of the total sum have been granted and the rest will be allocated by the yearend, according to Financial Tribune. “Subsidies paid to state-owned media organizations have come to a halt. At present, only private groups are entitled to subsidies,” Amiri was quoted as saying by the Persian economic daily Tafahom.
