Iranian woman recieves WHO degree in Malaria assessment

EghtesadOnline: An Iranian woman, Mahdieh Tohid Khah, has received Level B degree in External Competency Assessment of Malaria Microscopists from World Health Organization (WHO).

A health official at the town of Firoozeh in Khorasan Razavi province where Ms. Tohid Khah lives and works told IRNA that she successfully passed courses on National Competency Assessment of Malaria (NCA) and External Competency Assessnent of Malaria Microscopists (ECA) and finally managed to get the Level B degree as the first Iranian woman, IRNA reported.

This is while no case of malaria has been reported in Firoozeh.
