Isfahan governor calls for enhancement of cultural ties with Slovakia

EghtesadOnline: Governor General of Isfahan Rasoul Zargarpour in a meeting with Slovak Culture Minister Marek Madaric underlined development of cultural relations with Slovakia.

During the meeting on Sunday, Zargarpour noted that development of cultural relations between Isfahan and Slovakia will lead to promotion of social, economic and commercial ties between Tehran and Bratislava, IRNA reported.

Isfahan and Slovakia cultural week can be celebrated in the cities of the two countries, he said.

He also said that Iran and Slovakia can capitalize on their potentials in the tourism sector to further mutual relations.

Tourists from 86 countries especially from Europe travel to Isfahan to visit the city, the governor general said.

Zargarpour pointed to Isfahan’s tourism attractions and said that by celebrating Isfahan’s cultural week in the Europe we can promote ties between Iran and the European countries.

Iran’s relation with the world has improved, he noted, adding that Iran is not just a country with a population of 80 million, but it is a gateway to the Middle East.
