Collapsed Plasco Building to be rebuilt

EghtesadOnline: An Iranian member of parliament said on Sunday that the collapsed Plasco Building is going to be reconstructed.

Asghar Salimi, an Iranian lawmaker said that the new Plasco Building is going to have 7 stories and 5 stories for parking. 

According to IRNA, Plasco was a 17-storey Tehran commercial building, the Iran's oldest high-rise and an iconic structure downtown Tehran, built in 1962, that caught fire on January 19, 2017. In the incident, whose main cause was an electrical short circuit, 20 fire fighters lost their lives, and some 70 others were injured.
