Hamedan Agro, Dairy Exports Exceed $68m

EghtesadOnline: Some $68.6 million worth of agricultural and dairy products were exported from Hamedan Province in the last Iranian year (March 2016-17), accounting for 52% of the province’s total exports, the head of Hamedan’s Agricultural Jihad Organization said.

“More than $45.7 million worth of raisins were exported, making it our main export product. Dairy products follow with exports worth close to $16.3 million,” Mansour Rezvani Jalal was also quoted as saying by the Persian daily Abrar-e-Eqtesadi.

The official noted that the main export destinations for Hamedan agro and dairy products were the US, Germany, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Serbia, Romania, Poland, Ukraine, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Russia, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, Somalia, Tunisia, Lebanon, the UAE, Oman and Iraq, according to Financial Tribune.
