EghtesadOnline: Low-cost residential units popular among first-time buyers will experience growth in prices during the current fiscal year (started March 21) and the sales of these units will also increase, said a member of the High Council for Securities and Exchange.

”There are 160,000 loans allocated by Bank Maskan for 160,000 housing deals, which is a significant number for this year so the prices of small residential units has the potential to go up,” Hossein Abdoh-Tabrizi was also quoted as saying by ILNA.The senior analyst added that population growth has calmed and according to the minister of roads and urban development, Tehran has 2.58 million empty residential units.”Any notable price hike in expensive homes seems pretty unlikely,” Financial Tribune quoted him as saying.
