Arvand FTZ Exports Hit $1.2b

EghtesadOnline: Exports from Arvand Free Trade Zone in southwest Iran hit $1.2 billion in the last Iranian year (March 2016-17).

More than 60 foreign delegations visited Arvand Free Trade Zone during the period and signed investment contracts valued at $131 million, of which $35 million have been attracted so far, Financial Tribune’s sister publication Donya-e-Eqtesad quoted deputy head of the zone, Mohammad Reza Motamedi, as saying.

Arvand Free Trade Zone is located along the northwestern coast of the Persian Gulf and spans 37.4 hectares of land. The FTZ borders Iraq and Kuwait and has access to road, sea, rail and air transportation, according to Financial Tribune.
