“According to the reports, some elements of terrorist attack at Mirjaveh in Sistan and Baluchestan province which killed 10 Iranian border guards have been identified which are already in Pakistan. According to Iranian foreign ministry, Pakistan is expected to cooperate in arresting the terrorists,” he said during an interview with ISNA news agency.
Pointing that there are too many terrorists and they have been identified, Hassanbeigi added: “with Pakistani government’s cooperation and more efforts of Iranian foreign ministry, the terrorists would be certainly arrested. But there is more time to complete the work of intelligence and security”.
On Wednesday, according to ISNA, nine Iranian border guards were killed and two others injured in clashes near the Iranian town of Mirjaveh in the province of Sistan-and-Baluchestan. The Jaish ul-Adl terror group claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement.
