Golden ball, glove of 2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup go to Iran

EghtesadOnline: Iranian athletes Mohammad Ahmadzadeh and Peyman Hosseini snatched the Golden Ball and Golden Glove of 2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Nassau, the Bahamas, respectively.

The Iranian squad ended their Bahamas 2017 campaign on a high with a 5-3 win against Italy in the play-off for third place to become Asia's highest ever finishers at the Beach Soccer World Cup.

Meanwhile Italy and Brazil ranked second and first respectively, IRNA reported. 

The 2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, which is the ninth edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, kicked off in Nassau, the Bahamas, on April 27, and wrapped up on May 7. 

Ecuador, Senegal and Switzerland were drawn in Group A. Iran competed Italy, Mexico and Nigeria in Group B. Panama, Paraguay, Portugal and the United Arab Emirates shaped Group C and Group D was consisted of Brazil, Japan, Poland and Tahiti.
