“Iran is one of the pacifist members of the UN which shows its adherence to the international laws,” Dotsenko said on Monday night in a conference on the UN role in global peace appreciating Iran Foreign Ministry measures to hold international anti-terrorism conferences, IRNA reported.
“The UN is trying to present a solution to establish peace and the world disarmament of mass murder and prohibited weapons is pursued in line with it,” she said stressing that some problems in carrying this resolution stemmed from the way the countries enforce these laws.
Meantime, Former Iranian Ambassador in Norway Seyyed Hassan Rezvani said that the UN has to respond to this question and that is why it supports the authorities in their decision-making processes.
“It is still a question for us that why the UN was silent at the time of the US attack to Afghanistan and Iraq,” Rezvanis said.
