Five more ATR planes to enter Iran: Iran Air Managing Director

EghtesadOnline: The managing director of Iran Air said on Wednesday that four ATR planes landed in Mehrabad Airport, Tehran, and five more will join the air passenger fleet by the end of the year.

Farhad Parvaresh said, “Iran has bought 20 ATR planes and hopes to receive all of them by the end of 2018.' 

He said that after the enactment of the nuclear deal between Iran and G6, and 15 months of negotiations with plane manufactures, we received 4 ATR passenger planes today and three Airbuses have joined us before, IRNA reported.

Iran has signed contracts to buy 100 Airbuses, 80 Boeing aircraft, and 20 ATR passenger planes. The planes will replace the oldest planes for domestic flights.
